Author's bio:

Kongkee, original name Khong-chang Kong, animation director and comics artist based in Hong Kong. He founded comics and animation studio Penguin Lab in 2009. In 2015, in collaboration with britpop band Blur for the release of their new album, Kongkee created comic book Blur The Magic Whip: Travel to Hong Kong with Blur, which is a music and comics fans’ favourite and also a big hit in the international scene. Hijacking – Comic Hong Kong Literature, collaborated with Chihoi, also won wide acclaim in the European literary arts circle. In 2019, Kongkee is invited to jury the international competition in Stuttgart Trickfilm International Animated Film Festival, Germany. Original comic and animation short Dragon’s Delusion: Preface received the Japan TBS channel 22nd DigiCon6 ASIA Awards Grand Prize in 2020. In 2021, Kongkee was invited to hold a solo exhibition Kongkee: Warring States Cyberpunk at the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco. The exhibition was presented at Wrightwood659, Chicago as well in 2023.

Book Description:

King of Qin, also known as Qin Shi Huang, conquered six major states, establishing the Qin Dynasty. King of Qin introduced a principle of eternity and its system to the people under his people in order to build an ageless and immortal nation. When Qin people connected to the system of eternity, the system will prevent all crimes. Any illegal act that are detected will be stopped immediately. However, legend has it that few priests haven’t linked with the system to upgrade, who eventually got rid of Qin Shi Huang’s pursuit. They then were self-described as ‘guides’ who can divert one’s soul by secret power to avoid detection of the eternity system, helping their clients to commit ulterior ‘crimes’…
